I want to cook food for my daughter like suji kheer etc.Which milk can i use ? I m in Nj and here docs say to gv formula or BM.ANy suggestions ??? Pls guide if anybody has any experience ?? You can use full fat cow milk to prepare kheer, porridge or any other preparation like curd or paneer for babies..i m using it for my 7 months old daughter and i was advised this by my doctor..your daughter doesnt like formula so go with this milk..use cow milk for recipe preparation but not as the main drink..main drink should be breast or formula milk..till babies r 1 yr old..so cow milk is safe actually..try it out..dont be confused..everything will be alright..you

U can cook suji kheer with Formula Milk itself. I do the same for my 8 month old baby.Even my doc suggested not to give any other milk other than formula or BM till he is 1 yr old. Here' s how u can make it:

Boil the required amount of suji in safe drinking water.Avoid adding sugar,as docs suggests so till 1 yr. once the consistency becomes slightly thick remove it from fire & then add desired scoops of formula milk. Mix it well by stirring continously. Allow it to cool. Suji Kheer is ready..........
