hey puja,
since ur daughter is just 7months old...u cant give her oats like tht...i think its little bit difficult to digest...u can just fry the oats and powder it...u can add powder in ur recipes...dont make it too spicy as shes just 7months old

i prepare oats for my daughter likewise...
take 1/2 cup milk boil it...add quaker oats...when they boil add grated veggies like carrot, potato, beans, any other veggie which ur baby likes...add some salt/sugar...then when its completely boiled like semisolid off the stove...serve it...

another one is oats upma...
Oats Upama
Ingredients for Cooking
500 gm instant oats 3 cm piece ginger minced
3 tsp ghee curry leaves
2 tbsp sesame oil 41/2 cups water
1 tsp urad dall 13/4 tsp salt
2 tsp channa dall a pinch of asafoetida
1 tsp mustard seeds 3 green chillies sliced
2 dried chillies
1 onion sliced
Method:
1. Heat ghee in pan and dry roast oats till fragrant. Keep aside.
2. Heat oil. Add mustard seeds, urad dall,channa dall and dried chillies.
3. When dall has turned golden brown add sliced onions, ginger and curry leaves.
4. Saute onions till limp.Add water salt asafoetida and green chillies
5. When water is boiling add oats a little to prevent lumping.
6. Keep stirring uppuma till water is absorbed and the oats are thoroughly cooked.
7. Serve hot with coconut chutney.

another one is oats soup

oats soup

oil or butter 1 tsp
oats 1 cup
finely chopped onion 1/2 cup
green chillies slit 1 or 2
coarriander leaves 1/2 a tsp
milk 1 cup
water 1 cup
salt to taste
pepper powder to taste
corn flour 1 spoon

add oil in kadai
fry onion till golden brown add slit green chillies ..
add oats and fry for 1-2 mts.. add water and cook for 3 mts ..
mix cornflour with 1/2 cup milk and add to kadai.. cook for another 2 mts it will thicken ,
then add remainig milk .. and add corriander leaves..

add salt and pepper powder to taste
infact u can also add peas,carrot cauliflower etc to make it more healthy.. ,just grate them and steam it and add to the soup.

Here iz how i used to prepare oats for my dd..
take 1 cup of milk+3 spoons of oats+sugar+lil ghee+cloves/cinnamon/cardamom each 1+pinch of salt .mix all the above and allow it to boil for 5 min..thiz will b yummy
