Hi
I am 28 yrs and have a 2 yr old baby. I have been offered a job with a good company for a good pay. I have my MIL at home who is willing to take care of the baby. I have a 6 day week but am back at 6.00 everyday. I am yet to start and i am in a dilemma whwther to leave her at home though they are willing to take care and she is Ok with MIL for short bursts. But I am scared she will cry at home in my absence and get unmanageable. I wd like to know if anybody is going thro this. There is no playschool nearby to leave her.I keep getting depressed and i have to join next week.Will she be OK.

Its ok. I have been leaving my baby with MIL/ayah/FIL since she was 1. They get used to it. But 6 days a week is a killer. It'll be too much for you. Try and look for a 5 days thing and make it up with the baby in those 2 days of the weekend. :)

i think if your MIL is willing to help go for it. In the future your extra earnings will be useful for your baby only. My MIL refused to look after baby and so did my own mother so had to be drastic but financially it starts pinching ocne they go to shcool and their needs increase. After all do all you can to put a smile on her face.

dear rohini actually if ur child can stay with ur mother in law then its fine u can go ahead. if there was no one to take care of ur babyh then it would have been a problem

I am a mother of 4 years old son and I am working woman. I usually left home by 9 in morning and reach by 8 in evening.
I usually get quality time with my son on Sundays/holidays. But then as i reach home by 8 eve, I realy work hard to finish the work and food by 10 or 10:30 to make love with my son coz i love him very much after my husband.
