We are a couple married for last 5 years but unable to conceive since my husband´ s sprm count is found too be very low, i would like to know if there is anything that can be done to improve sperm count .also wud his smoking and drinking habit can be a caues?..how good is ivf as an option??..pls guide Riya Verma replied. anju replied. First things first:talk to your husband regarding his smoking and drinking habits as sooner he gets rid of at least keeps it to minimum levels,better it gives you both more chances to conceive.here are few more tips:
suggest you include plenty of sprouts in your diet and ask your husband to do boat rowing exercise this improves and stimulates the sperm to multiply a lot, that is ask him to sit on the ground with both legs stretched side by side, and slowly lift it to 45deg a, take it step by step and not hurry into doing it for longer times, may be a 2 minute then 5 minutes slowly increase to 15 minutes this will help him with vigour...no coffee or tea during these months of trial, more of fruits and vegetables avoid non veg for sometime, take plenty of greens and salads.Excessive drinking and smoking should be avoided...hope these should help you.
