Hello Everyone,
My son is 4 months old. He was born at 37weeks 2 days by an emegency C-section as he wasn' t growing at 1.75 kgs. He was normal otherwise, only small. He is now 5.3 kgs. He feeds 3 hourly and use to sleep thru the night. Just in the past couple of days. He doesn' t seem to be satisfied after a feed. His hand is in his mouth and he doesn' t settle. At night i give him 140 ml of expressed breast milk in a bottle plus a breast feed. Even after that his hand is in the mouth, refuses to settle down. I end up feeding him for 2 hours. Is he ready for solids?

My baby use to put her finger in mouth even after feed...its some habit or they feeling hungry donno...but try to give ur baby water...lessen some hunger...try solids in 5th month...sometimes kids cry in the middle of nite its normal dont worry....give him as much milk as u can...sometimes bottle fed and bm leads to nipple confusion...hope this helps!!!
