Hi ruma !

in ur msg u wrote by we can use vaseline at diapering area ,does this prevent from rashes also , where should we apply,is it on the babies skin . do the babies don' t get irritated to the jelly
plz let me konw ,my kid is 15months and she got diaper rash suddenly i use only just when we go out

this was recommended by paediatrician and yes it has to be applied to the whole area that will be covered by the diaper cuz water wont stick to it, so ur kid' s sensitive areas wont be affected by the uric acid in his/her stools/urine. pls try this. my daughter has rashes even after this but seldom does, whereas i know of kids who get bad rashes without application. if rashes appear the treatment is rash-free or any other ointment that doc recommends, again rash-free worked fine for my daughter. When she has rashes make sure u dont 1. diaper too much, only to sleep 2. dont use medicated wipes to wipe off her bottom 3. cottonwool soaked in warm water every hr to clean up that area so that uric acid doesnt sting too much & increase the rashes

My baby too got diaper rash....i dont know wheather to apply vaseline or not but there is diaper rash cream available in store...apply it..its very good for their skin also...dont put diaper always...expose to air little bit...u can apply cocunut oil also...hope this helps...
