Hi Friends,I'm regular reader of this site, but this is for the first time i'm raising a dbt
i'm 23 weeks pregnant and work in IT field
last month(after 20 weeks) i had a scan,in which my doc found the fluid level is slightly less than normal(she told me that way)and she has given me 2 tablets(to have in the morning for that)i know the importance of adequate fluid so 'em bit scared abt this complication, how shud i change my diet or my ways to improve it..i ususaly have a hectic routine and i'm cing all the household chores etc..moreover i haven't gaine enough weight it seems,my LMP is March 14th 2004 from that day till that check up(20weeks)i've gained 4kgs,i had intense nausea and other discomforts in the first trimester(even now 10 days once)she told me i shud have put 2 more kgs in this period,so please give me some tips and ideas to solve both these problems and to have a normal delivery with a healthy baby

Thanks
Houndy

Dear Houndy,
Watch on your diet. Have protein, calcium and a little fats included.

Drink about 8-10 glasses of water each day and try to have sufficient carbohydrates, may be fresh fruits or fruit juices. If you live in India try GluconD.
Hopefully these will help you get on track. I don't howvere think you are running behind with weight gain! It's OK to have little less as long as your baby size is in the limit:)

Dear Houndy,
South Indian Diet is perfectly fine, remember howmany south Indian girls deliver healthy babies without any concerns while eating. Eat that you want to as long as home made and regular meal.
About Tang, I don't know contents of the drink and any drink or stuff outside should be weighed for it's contents, speak to your Dr. If the content contain caffine then avoid.

RE:adoption in a family
hey ananya this is really a very sensitive case and you should think about it before hand as in what the child would think in future as he or she grows up. Or else you will have to do counselling of the child at the right time.... - ridhi [View Message]

Hi Rupal,
So don't you have any other option because it would be very hard for you to abort the child know.So better ask for any other source if not then you decide what to do.... - Amani [View Message]
