can someone help, my baby has rough skin, no change in color just that its rough even with baby oil, olive oil massages almost everyday, i just gohnson baby soap & dont use powder, just milk cream sss replied. yes,olive oil make skin dry.so use coconut oil instead. Aradhana replied. hii RumA,
My dd too had some rough patches on her skin. i had used olive oil on her.. so i donno if she reacted to it.
I switched to Coconut oil. and she is fine.. also dont use hot water for her bath use Lukewarm water.
ANd i would say no to JOhnsons products.. as their oil is mineral oil not good for children.. use Olive oil or coconut oil.. ALmond oil is good ,, but it gives a good hair growth... so all over body.. i wuld be concerned.
Also JOhnsons lotion n soap.. na.. try to use another brand.. I use Aveeno' s , In India u can use Pigeon soaps they are good. or other lotion from MOther Care or something. Even Himalaya has come up with a baby range.
Basically most imp is do not use Hot water,,, use lukewarm water. Hot water drains moisture from the skin. and give her good food. like Avacados that are naturally good for skin n hair.
