Sorry to trouble you but I have a few questions that I hope you can help me with.

I have just started menses today Day 1.
My Doctor has perscribed Clomid for me to take from Day 5 - 9 of menses. My cycles have been 30 Days in the last 4 cycles and I have used OPK and seem to ovulate around Day 14 - 15.

Please can you advise me what Days to TTC to achieve best results.
Also I have been told that if Clomid is taken from Day 1-5 it has more sucess is this true????
My husbands sperm count is normal also.

CD to try

Dear Sinead,
Try from CD12 onward until CD16-17. Remember once a day only. Do not overdo!

Clomid will help inducing ovulation. It is different in each person, so discount what you hear. Follow your Drs. advice and trust in Dr. I see you will have pretty good chances.

If you use OPK then wait your intercourse until you get OPK positive.From there you can have once each day till you ovulate and get a negative OPK (OPK will be positive only for 24 hours and then it will subside and turn negative after ovulation).

You are so kind, i will keep you informed of my progress. also i have started taking folic acid, iron, zinc and evening primrose oil. all old wives tales but can any of these be a benefit to me????
