I had introduced with my prob of having irregular period cycles from 30 to 48 days the whole of last year 2003,but off-late the length of the cycles are like 30,31 days.I had been to India in Dec till Jan end and have started to take an ayurvedic medicine called Evecare,Himalaya Drug company for regularizing the cycles,the drug is claimed to have no side effects and i guess that has made a diffrence and regularized my cylces to an extent.I am waitng for this month end for my period,then i may conclude the diffrence the drug may have made.
I think i will pass the OPK BBT and CVM for this month and wait for the next month and also keep in mind about the timing of intercourse.
My husband and i thought since the sperm count is good etc. so having the intercourse daily may increae the chances since i will ovulate atleast one of the days?But, yes we will try to abstain form sex and time our intercouse.
There is another concern about the repeat of Semen analysis with IBT advised by the doc.to check on the morphology of the sprem. My husband's is scheduled for Fri.this week.
My HSG written report is due by tomorrow although, the doc. while performing the HSG concluded that tubes are open but we will have to visit my doc for further discussions about the report and also the repeat of SA with IBT.
I do not know what to expect but crossing my fingers that all......

As said earlier, it's OK with me and you are not bothering at all!

I may have to confess, I may ask couple of things again and again (just example your irregular periods as I had forgotten) and hope you will co-operate.

You are more than likely ovulated. If your cycle is 30 days then intercourse on CD16 could be little late to get you pregnant. If the cycle is going to be of 31 days then there are high chances that your intercourse on CD16 will help a lot. If this intercourse was spaced more than 2-3 days gap then chances are more as there will be many mature sperms to make through their way.

Semen analysis is one important thing in couples taking time to get success. It may be that primarily his semen is analysed to comment on sperm count. But in fertilization as much sperm count is important that much the quality of sperm is important, here we speak about it's morphology and motility. Do not worry with new SA of IBT he will have full analysis done.

I would have to remind and tell that your idea of passing on BBT, CM and OPK for this cycle is fairly good decision.
Save this for next cycle, unless you hit success in this one.

If you are kind of regularized (cycles) and are of 30 days then keeping abstained from sex for first 13 days would be a good idea. Meanwhile make sure you both try to wear undergarments those are loose and preferably cotton. Cotton keeps body temperature towards low side and especially sperms are little too sensitive to temperature. If your husband follow what's said here will help keeping his sperms at high count (for his case).
