mmm..girls..i met the doc yesterday one week prior the appointment date...Know what happenned??rt from the morning i was feeling stiffness in my lower stomach..on both the sides..something like a muscle pull..which made me very uneasy..i was not able to concentrate on work in office too..then i went and met the doc..she sd this muscle pull is very normal and as 'm entering the 7th month and as the baby is growing ..this is expected and she did my U/S one week in advance of my scheduled date...the Baby is fine..the baby has put on gud weight..as far as my weight i remianed more or less teh same as the last check up..just added on 0.3 kgs from my last check up..but the baby has put on gud weight and the growth is gud..
i also didn't specifically ask abt placenta position..but i feel if anything was wrong she would have told me...can see my boy's features like the nose ,eyesockets and everything very clearer as was in the detailed scan..
and my urine test turned to be normal..NO gestational diabetics discovered so far..happy 'am...since i asked her she told me that its not neccessary to take a GD test as i donn have any family history of dia..also if required shd take in 28th week..but 'm getting the urine strips from the clinic when i go bak..so that i cd do a prelim at home..instead of being panicked /...

mm..by the way 'm getting ready to fly to India which is just 3 weeks away...any buying suggestions girls??

I had a doubt.I am in US & total how many ultra sounds do they perform throughout pregnancy.. I had one in 22nd week & my doc said that was the last one.. SO i am curious.
& Hey I am soo happy for you that you will be going to India for your delivery.. I miss india soo much.. Your baby will be pampered by all & its fun havign all friends and relatives around during this happy time..

Hey abt taking stuff to India one of my friends suggested that you get a differnt type of nailcutter here.I dunno if you get it in India..But it has a magnifying glass on it.. so its easy to cuy small babies nails :-).Plus its not a big thing to carry.
Also its seems the bottles you get here have some kind of holes at the rear to remove air bubbles.. SO in case whenever ur baby drinks from bottle the gas in the bottle is removed. SO that helps the baby stay free og gases.. Otherwise generally bottle fed babies have gases problem.
Also you get good sippy cups here..

I am thinking the same thing...I had my U/S scan for half hour in my 19th week..THe lady could not even tell me the sex of the baby Mihika replied. HI Suhanya,

Last appointment with my doc i had a US Scan and now she said that no more scans except the one to be done in the 8th month. I really do not understand this as everyone is going thru one more scan which is now.

Anyways going to meet the doc on 1st Sept will enquire about this.
