I absolutely understand what you are going through. Tht trouble lies as Indian Women keep husband as the only priority while for them it is not the same. If they are concerned for their wife, they generally go on a guilt ride. Shravan kumar syndrome. Please don't forsake your parents and family. Men are not God.

dear, as august born is saying, talk to him.My suggestion is don't cry, invite him over to a restaurant, just two of you as you are controlled in public. Talk like a mature human being and please show it is a complaint.

If you say I care for you and you dont care for me, it is not going to work out. Instead tell him that i will feel nice if you show some affection towards me. Tell him you want a gift on valentine's day.

i am trying to be diplomatic now in way i complain. THis is important. Try out. And praise is a big tool. Very person in this world likes to be appreciated.

All the best and dont expect much from relations.

Hi Neerja
As Anne said try talking to him....
Dear you have not given any details why you feel like that. Maybe, if you could be more explicit, we would be able to gauge what you are going through and could give you support accordingly...
Keep the faith...

He is a physician and obtained his residency training. I worked to earn for our family for two years until he got his job. Then he applied for his parents to visit us on a visiting visa. RE:self centered inlaws
I agree they have completely double standards as I recently found out. I saw my husbands childhood photos when he was young. His parents claim they sacrificed everything for their kids and lived poor and behave like martyr parents. Got treated as free domestic servant. But the photos showed them dressed like Bollywood stars with watches and jewellery enjoying their life. O... - Tina [View Message]

RE:Mother-in-law spoiling my child
hello kajal,
if you are rudely talking with her, then this is not way to talking with your mother in law, you tell her in polite way, your son is her grand son, so she never think about his bad effects.... - ruchita [View Message]
