dear all,

coming monday i'll be going for One hour suger test . anybody done this test ??? and any suggestions ???

Hey dont worry about that test.
Today i had my Glucose test ,where my doc told me not to have anything even water on the previous day after 12.00.but i had little sip of water.
then Next at 8.30 am i had appointment where they gave me to drink fruit punch ,its something which we will not find outside. then after 1 hr i had my glucose test.They just remove blood in 2 tiny bottles thats it.its done.
Even i was worried about that but u dont have to worry as there is nothing .just iam very anxious to know my report which iam goin to get it on Monday.

thanx for ur lots of suugestion .

My dr. gave me a One Glucose bottle ( Lime Flavour ) and he told me that pick any day and go to the lab...and on that time ..drink this Bottle .

so we'll go on coming tuesday ..i 'll keep u update ....and vidya we r all waiting for ur result ... I 'know it will be fine ..but still waiting :)

im supposed to go for 1 hr glucose test in a day.my OB/GYN told me to eat anythng b4 the test like b/fast or wotever n there s nothing to fast.there at the lab they ll give a sugary liquid to drink n after some time they will take blood sample.

so better check with yr doc for any special instructions.

Hi vandna,
don't worry about the test. U'll be fine. Only problem is I think u have to be on fasting for atleast 10-12hours. Here is the link in baby center which 'll explain more about that.
