I joined back when my daughter was the same age, the first few months were very difficult for me.. she adjusted very well :) Now after 5 months.. Slowly accepting that I cant be around her all day and she can stay happily in my absence too

I give her milk and breakfast in the morning and tell the maid what vegis to add to her kichdi, quantity of rice to add etc \" every day\" . She doses as she is told.. and whaetver the maid is not comfortable cooking or feeding (soups , milkshake, egg & cheese in my case) I have adjusted her diet routine such that I can go home in the evening and prepare it for her

You can make Kichdi etc for your son or keep the ingredients ready and ask the maid to pressure cook it around his lunch time. Chk if the maid will prepare juice otherwise since u will be working parttime adjust his juice timings so that u can go home and prepare it for him. let him eat a fruit or have soup during his normal juice time

Let me know if you have any other questions.. I know how difficult this phase is..

Hi Aks,

My son goes to day care.
I pack for him
- milk (no sugar. Ask them to add sugar just before giving it)
- khichdi/idly+daal (ask them to reheat)
- snacks (biscuits, rusk, cheeslings, cakes etc)
- banana
- water
I know nothing is best like being with ur lil one all the time. But its not possible always. So dont worry, everything will be fine.
Abt juice, even i dont know how to pack juice. As our elders say, juices should be consumed immediately. Somebosy else plz suggest smthing
Hope this helps
