Feeding:How to make kid drink water?

Hi Moms,
My son is 13 mnts+ . He does not like to take water. After meals, he will take 2-3 sips. Sometimes I forcefully make him drink.
Any other mom faced similar problem. Is it safe to mix some sugar in water. Or something else?
Plz suggest smthing.

u can give juice instead of water and this is the time to introduce as he will get used to drinking juice etc. juices are already 75% water so u dont have to worry about the water content . u can use sippers which come in variety of shapes and sizes which spiderman and all kinds of kids cartoons on it which will make the kid like it more and enjoy drinking.

Hi MG,
My daughter fond of drinking in cups since i use to drink coffee so i started giving water in cups then slowly with sipper in her 7th month so she is now comfortable once after food she has to take some water atleast .50ml she use to drink to end her food.

I have the same problem with my daughter. I am giving her juice (orange/pomegranate and carrot) twice a day with 1:4 dilution. In this way she is having enough water. This is also helping her with constipation.
