Hi All,

Someone with name Eating problems posted a problem of her/his kid not chewing food similar like my daughter. Could you please look at it msg id is 10365? For you all I am coping my message again here.

my daughter is 14.5 month old by now having same eating problem(not chewing food). Someone said as I started with cerelac form now she is use to that form and she will not chew easily. I had continued this cerelac form till 10months and then when I started solid even biscuits she is not chewing and same fear of vomit I am not able to give her solid now. Now my daughter started showing \" oh god NO\" sign as soon as I come with bowl and spoon towards her for feeding pureed form. I and my hubby r having hard time everyday to search new tricks to distract her and feed her. Her nagging is so much towards food time that my hubby has to be at her meal time to distract her. Outings r tough too. If we go out also she makes so much scene while eating and all ppl keep looking at us and we try to come back before her meal time and for us outing cannot be more then 1 or max 2 continuous hrs. For milk also she doesnt drink through bottle as whole. my best luck she drinks half milk through bottle and rest I spoon feed her. I am so scared on sippy cup as I believe she will definately not drink. She was late on her sitting and walking milestone. My relatives say I dont keep her on her own and be over protected thats why she is late learning. docs say its ok if she learned late sitting and walking(started sitting by 9month, crawling by 11month and started walking recently only) her birth weight was 3.1kgs. at 5month her weight was 6.8kgs, at 10month her weight was 7.5kgs and last measured at 13months her weight was 8.3kgs.

Eating Problems, I dont know ur name but if u r making such group and any tricks you get from anywhere please please do let me also know. I am not visiting this site so frequently. But I will try to visit this site or any group form by you on such problems atleast twice a week.

My name is jaya and i had posted the Eating Problems topic in IP.I think u also would have seen the messages under that thread.I am not having much luck and nothing worked out. For me my kid is almost two year old and he has reflux problem.So he is still eating pureed food and he gags on solid food.Is there any problem with your daughter similar to this ?

Even my son is a fussy eater and we are not able to spend time out because of his problem.We make him to eat by showing animated movies on PC.Its not a very good thing but atleast he will eat his good by that way.We give him mashed food but now we are trying to increase thickness and lumps and somrtimes he is taking and sometimes he vomits.so we are trying this only in the early morning when his stomach is empty.Otherwise we give him pureed food only.Doctor told that because of pureeing nothing will be lost only problem is increased amount of work and time for u.so we are doing it still but i know it is going to take more time atleast a year for my son to have normal food like other kids.Good luck with you i will post any improvement if i have.tell me if u also have any suggestions.
