Hi everyone

I am mummmy of 14 months old boy and i want to stop his daytime breast feeding - but i am not able to do that? he just wants it every now n then n if i refuse he just cries n cries alot. actually he cannot sleep on his own yet either he requires \" jholi\" (cradle) or he sleeps only when i am feeding him n while drinking milk he sleeps. i want to break his both habits but that is not happening. even when he does not wants to sleep after playing for a while he asks for milk he drink little then play for a while n come back n ask for milk .... i tried to make him understand by saying that it has finished n that it is not there but he still insists n does not want to listen anythin. i dont want to break his feeding completely tills he is 18 months old - i want to feed him night but not in day time - what to do? Plz help me vidya replied. dear

when ur baby is hungry try to give him vegetable gravy,fruit juice or smashed potatoes.if he is taking BF for 4-5 times in a day then try to make it for 2-3 times,
then slowly make it 1-2 and then stop completely. shehnaz replied. dear mummy,
i too went thru dis phase with my kid at d same age.r u feeding him solids if no start now. its time 2 start.try 2 fill him up with milk by tapping his head slowly or just sing a lullaby while he is feeding.both together will work wonders.trust me sleeping in d jholi now is fine no prblm with that.while he comes back for milk u start playing with him 2 while away his mind and make him hungry.save some new toys or tricks just 2 surprise him and keep him busy while he thinking of LITTLE SUCKING.once he is hungry he will have enough.take care of urself n baby dis is d time he will show most of his nakraas good luck.luv 2 ur baby.
