Hi Sups!, Hope u r doing well. As u know 1 had 2 failed IVF' s(1IVF,1 FET). Now my Immunophic blood report came abnormal means i have natural killer cells. i haven' t seen the reoprt yet so dont know the level. but Dr. sugested me to take Iv Ig therapy (3 doses with d interval of 21 days. u too had N-killer cells right? will this treatment help? injections r very costly(15 thousand for 80ml)..how many injection they gave u n where did u take them( common nursing home or ivf centre) am scared after this blood report came. plz respond...regards liki alamelu replied. Are these tests you suggested done anywhere else as well or just in Double Helex? Lakshmi replied. I am sorry about your NK cells. I live in USA. I had 3 miscarriages. I thought I had high NK cells, but the test results came back normal.
I read that taking purified fish oil tablets might reduce the NK cells.
I also planned to take IVIG, with my last IVF treatment since it is very expensive I did not take it.
If you can get Dr. Beer book \" Is your body baby friedly\" , please read that book.
Also regular exercise also will help.

The test is done at Delhi at a place called Double Helix. The doctor there is Dr Reita Ghosh. However, the test costs a lot, so I suggest you check with your doctor if its really needed in your case..

I am also diagnosed with nk cells.Mine is 12%.I have 3 failed ivf cycles.Currently they just found out that I hav nk cells.I live in USA, from past few months my clinic has changed ivig therapy to Intralipid (it' s a new thing) Intralipid is lot cheaper & it has same effect or little more positive effect.According to my doc it will be given 10 days before transfer, and again once you get pregnanat(not sure which date).
It is good for you atleast they found the reason that you got nk cells, now atleast you can get treatment and get pregnant.Good luck with you on everything.
