Did anyone have this problem of tight cervix? Two doctors mentioned that my cervix is tooo tight. First one did HSG for me and said its very tight but not a big issue. Second time, I got IUI done by a different doc. She had to literally poke the catheter inside. She also said its very very tight. I found it veryyy painful. But I' ve heard some of my friends say they dont feel any pain at all. My doc also said that normally its not a painful procedure at all. I asked her if it would affect my success rate but she said \" No. Sperms are microscopic, so that' s not an issue, as long as ur periods are not extremely painful, the opening should be good enough\" .... but somehow i wanted to know if there were ppl who had this problem and later became successful and got pregnant Tanu replied. So when doctors has told you that your cevix is tight ask to give the treatment with and alternate solution that would be better to you only know and it may help you also so after that your IUI may be successed also i wish it would happen. Harsha replied. Hello Person,

Try Yoga which will help you really relax. As your doctor mentioned, sperms can swim through any tiny area so you should be fine. But try and visualize something that will calm you during procedures. R replied. Hi, Don' t worry. I got IUI done a few times and was given the same feedback. But did succeed on my 6th attempt and now have a son.
The only advice I' ll give u is to relax when the procedure is to begin. It helps if you are in a relaxed state and you will even realise that pain reduces if your muscles are relaxed. Practice deep breathing. You will benefit by it.
