Hi.
With due regards to your efforts in order to train your baby.I would want to share by views. My daughter is 1 year old now but from the time she was about8 months i got a plastic potty box wherein i had made a routine for her.Once she is up in the morning i used to give her feed of milk and make her sit on the potty box.it took a week or so train her and make her comfortable on the box but soon after her routine was set which made it very easy for me.for a change i make her sit on the box in front of the tv.ofcourse that is not possible always but I guess for 16 months the box would be small but there are many other options avaliable for children like the children potty seat and many more. All the very best....

hello megha.congratulations once again!!On the issue of potty training,i advise u to be very very paTIENT!Its not an easy task as i know.I' m also trying to potty train my 18 month boy without any of your other problems.sometimes he makes accidents and sometimes he makes shu shu in the toilet after a lot of struggle.Don' t let him cry too much b' coz then he might resist going to the potty at all.Best of all let him/her go bare or only with underwear in the morning hours.Allow to wear nappy during sleep times till he gets used to making sussu in the potty.Don' t worry,be very patient, don' t get angry at ur child.I' m also going thru these same feelings.

RE:Baby cries while passing urine - Hetal pls advice
At the same time the child is feeling some pain So try to understand and consult a doctor.... - sharmasanvi [View Message]
RE:bowel movement in 2 week old infant
Some babies go through phases when they either can't use the muscles to empty their bowels or they "forget how to". In that case, it's safest keep using the suppositories daily to make them do a dirty in 5 minutes.... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:where can I get laxative?
You can get either glycerin or bisacodyl suppositories in any Indian pharmacy - I recommend saving money by not buying child-size ones, instead cutting adult supps in half to make a child-size dosage.
(I have a daughter with long-term bowel issues: she can't "do" without them!)... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:constipation
When the baby is in discomfort from constipation (especially if she hasn't done some dirty for two days or more), the first thing you should give is a glycerin suppository.... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:hi
Most doctors say banana doesn't help - the potassium in it makes constipation worse. Remember you can make your own prune puree in a blender. Grape, grapefruit and papaya are also laxative fruits. And remember you can safely use baby suppositories as often as you need to (they also help with "training" the baby to do a dirty at the same time every day)... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:Baby Movements/Development
Consult a good doctor immediately as this should not be ignored as it will cause a big issue if you let it go now, please seek doctors advice on immediate basis.... - Aditi [View Message]
RE:Baby Movements/Development
Hi there please be calm and relax as it happens sometime the child takes little time to start walking or crawling also but in your case the child should have started crawling if not walking.... - Anita [View Message]
