Hi All,
i have an doubt whether car seat is necessary for babies in india since i was in dilemma but my husband wants to buy. We were from US but settled here this year. My daughter is 8 months old. Dont know in which top to ask?. Reply in other sections r less so i need a urgent reply so i have written .Plz help me.

It is not mandatory to use a car seat in India.. but it' s a good practice.. if your baby is already used to a car seat please do not break the habit

We tried to use a car seat a little late for my daughter (10 months) and she refused to sit in it.. now at 15 months she has become almost unmanagable in a car.. she is very restless and cant sit still for a min.. she' ll stand on the seat try to move around.. dance.. we r always scared that she will hurt herself when we apply breaks.. one of us should always be ready to hold her... it' s a nightmare :)

Hi, In india, its not necessary by law to install a car seat. But if u want, i will suggest u should go for it. its safe for the baby. and moreover, u will be free to sit anywhere in the car having the baby safe in his own seat.
