hello all ..my daughter is running 5 months now and doc advised to start ragi in her diet (around 2 scoops everyday) we made some homemade ragi powder but she hates it even with sugar ..we right now give her ragi water and rice water in addition to breastfeed and formula milk, at regular intervals. I want to know if i can switch from rice water and ragi water and instead prepare nestum rice ragi with these waters / NAN formula milk that i give her, so that the taste of ragi or rice is masked and she likes them better ..what do u folks suggest ...i dont think i can express milk since my work hrs are stringent and expressing isnt producing much to make any of these ingredients with ....plz help ..my baby hasnt had issues with weight or anything ....she is normal with her milestones

Try the ready to eat ragi foods. These are malted ragi and taste good. And ragi should be given in the morning. Keep at least two hour gap between her last feed so that she is sufficiently hungry to eat that.
The consistency should be slightly watery and not thick. Ragi tends to get thick as it cools and then suddenly becomes watery. It is important for the child to also be interestd in the consistency.
