Eating Problems:advice :appears to be thin

Name: wafia

my daughter is 20months old she is very thin and falls sick often i.e. having cold, flu or teething symtoms make her difficult to recover. When she has cold then also it takes full 10 or more days for her to recover and during these days she wants to me to simply carry her in my arms.
Many mothers told me to give her dry fruits which will make her strong, but she refuses to eat. Even if I put them in puddings etc. she removes them and eats the rest.
How can i make her strong. Doctors say that it is not necessary to give her dry fruits. She is fine and not weak then why doesnt she recover soon from illness.
Being a working mother I find it difficult to take leave often. Pl. help
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Do not worry so much about thin child. You can start giving green veggies, fruits etc. Nutrition food .

For Dry fruits do one thing grind them and make a nice paste of it , ( EVEN I DO THE SAME) so she will not notice it. thns put it in to SHEERA or some thing what she like to eat. Give everyday food counting what vitamins r u giving I am also a working women. I give mornign breakfast of paratha with filled ( VEGGIES like palak, beetroot, carrot,PANNER), idli, dosa, upma, handawa etx. Make milk of banana milk shake or boil putiing dry fruit paste. give curd with meals. I think so it will ve fine than.

Thanks manisha, I also thought that I must grind the dryfruits in mixie and give but then i was wondering whether it is too heaty for the baby. Can we give her one spoons mixed very day as she has bournvita(mixture of almond, dry anjeer, pista, cashews dates). Let me know exactly what I must give.
Bcos yesterday the day care center representative told me that she complains her legs is paining after little bit of walking etc.
