hi all my 8months old baby has severe dry cough and cold for the past 1month wht is the reason for his cough i tried many cough syrup from india also tried with doctors here in abroad no use he is still same. weather is also too bad here.. my eyes are filled with tears whenever i see him coughing badly wht to do now someone please help i feel very very depressed iam not able to eat or cook at home full tension with my baby iam worried a lot........... sandhya replied. My daughter too suffered for 15 days. we gave injections daily 2 for 3 days.she has full of flum in lungs. we used antibiotic and injections she was normal after 4 days u ask the doctor. sonia replied. u can find my post for cold and cough if u visit two 0r three pages back however plz try all these
1. give him lots of fluid like soups, warm water..dont give him anythin cold..everythin shud be little warm
2.Milk mixed with pinch of haldi
3.Honey mixed with Ginger and Tulsi juice
4. Apply baby vicks(mixed with baby lotion) on his chest,back, little on nose and feet while sleeping so that he can sleep easily
5.give him steam 2-3 times in a day..it will really help u
6.cover him up with the clothes as weather is changing now

i can imagine ur situation even i was so disturbed last few days back when my son had cold and cough..it took almost 10-15 days and i have read somewhere on this board that it takes two wks for full recovery of cold so dont worry..just try home remedies and take care and let me know
