Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

Hello everybody,
Like everyone in this forum I am also a victim of infertility.Trying since 3 yrs but in vain..I am seeing one Reproductive Endocrinologist in NY,USA.I stay in NJ.This is my second doc.was not satisfied with the first one..anyways my problems are ..my periods are totally irregular..I cant say when it' ll happen and how long it' ll be ..sometimes I spot continuously for a month or some time spot twice or thrice a month...I faced so many prob just bcoz of my irregular periods since I had it...went to may docs tried everything nothing worked for me...and now I' ve been diagnosed with PCOS hav cyst in right and left ovary..I dont ovulate at all..and watever tablets r prescribed (Provera,Clomid) nothing works for me..all this is making me totally disappointed but I never thot wat more was waiting for me...coz i was diagnosed with Endometrial Hyperplasia with Atypia ie my endometrial ining was the thickest they have ever seen which also has precancerous cells..they said there is 10 chance that it' ll bcome full cancer...so i had a D&C and was given Provera but soon aftr just 3 months It came back bcoming more thicker and Doc is totally scarred herself..she told me forget abt getting preg now ,it' s ur health wchih I am concetned abt now plus she told me I also have Hepatitis C...now I am totally shattered..I cant concentrate on my work..all i do is browsing and getting more and more info regarding this..I cant even share my heart ache 2 anyone so i poured it here..i feel i am a cursed girl..dont know wat will happen...am scarred to death...so my doc has referred me 2 a Cancer specialist..to top it all here I face so many problems to get an immediate appointment with the doctor in US....Dont know what 2 do..I was parying for a baby and c now I' ve so many problems ki dont know what not 2 prayer 2 God...dont know y he is doing this 2 me..am loosing hope..so scarred...pls guide me what i shud do.....all my dreams r blurring....and hus is crazy abt babies ..he is supportive but at he same time deeply hurt...dear frnds..pls help me 2 get thru this situation or anyone who had similar problems and if anyone can suggest the best RE in NY/NJ...I wud be grateful 2 u all for taking ur time and giving me any guidance...looking 4ward 2 ur advices...Rememebr me in ur paryers :( manju replied. Please dont take to heart or burst out ,think about adopting a baby.You have to concentrate on your health now.One of my aunt has a girl baby and uncle wanted a boy baby ....she was not able to conceive 2nd time for many years.You know what they did they adopted a small cute boy baby of 1 month.And now you know that baby is a guy of 17yrs preparing for his 2nd year exams and CET.he wants to go for Engineering.What do you say about this.So dont worry i will be there with you.bye supriya replied. I have a friend of mine who is more or less in a similar situation like yours.Before marriage her periods were very irregular.We tried to take her to a dr and rectify there itselves but it didnt work out.She got married and unfortunately she got divorced without kids.But her periods problem still persist.She had severe back aches and when checked she had cysts on her ovaries.Dr have cleared thru laprosopic procedure.But due to variuos situation not favarable to her she developed diabetes(may be because of stress).She was again found with cysts on her ovaries but this time chances of cancer on one of the ovaries.Doctors have operated and removed one of her ovaries without informing her.It was a devastating experience for her.Now she is thinking to ger married to have a companion in life.She still has chances of getting pregnant but she kept herself very neutral.

So Shamol.what i want say you is look out around there is more pain around.Dont depress yourslef,your mental health plays a lot of role maitaining your phsical health.Be strong.And keep yourselves really close to your husband.First clear all your health problems.Without maitaning a good health there is not point getting pregnant.Even if you get pregnant your problems may influence baby.And there is more pain involved like that.So keep yourselves really balanced.Believe in God.Engage yourselves variety of activites.

And please dont burst out you may think of adoption in WORST conditions.Dont loose hope on getting pregnant,but can still think caring for someone which will satisfy your motherhood.There lots and lots of young kids who dont have parents ,food and other facilities.Iam sorry this must have hurted you.But be VERY VERY STRONG.

ONE THING IMPORTANT IS FOR GOD SAKE DONT TRY TO CURE/DO TOO MANY THINGS AT THE SAME TIME.FOCUS ON SERIOS ONES.HOPE U SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM AT ALLLL angel2009 replied. Pls dont worry.First of all stop taking medicines for atleast 6 months unless otherwise it is absoulutly necessary.Keep away from medicines.Go for good out door games so that u sweat like swim,Shuttle, Basket ball.

Recharge yourself thro games,yoga,public service thro ISHA Yoga etc.Become a pure VEG.

Games and yoga are enememies of PCOD.Studies proved that 48% cured from PCOD due to yoga and outdoor games.U will be alright in 6 months.After 6 months go for TVS scan PCOD will vainsh and u r periods will be normal.

I have seen DATES doing miracles in regularising the PERIODS.Take pure Arabian dates 4 a day with Milk once a day.

Belive me or not,excercise and yoga will do miracles.That is the only solution at hand.Pls take my words.U will remember me once u carry u r baby in another years time. kala replied. hi shamol,

may i suggest one thing? why dont u think of adopting a child which would make wonders for your life..that is only a suggestion and am not too sure how you will receive it.
it is upto us to make the child stay as our own kid. y not give it a try??
