I would like to know if there is a gyn on this forum and can help me out....or if therez anyone out there sailed on a similar boat and came out successfully.
I have been on TTC for 4mnths and have been diagnosed with hormone imbalance for the last 3mnths. First doc i visited prescribed me provera that didnt help me for the 1st cycle and another doc prescibed me Marvelon but for the following cycle and my brown discharge came back in less than 3 wks even while i was taking The Pills.After consulting the doc he has asked me to continue the same for another cycle. Now what i have noticed is( though i' m not too sure ), i get this brown dischrge whenever i do a little heavy work like brisk walk for about 30mins.Is this exercising the cause for imbalance? Another thing is i get stressed over small issues.Or is this the cause? Food habits( vegetarian ) has not changed for long.Am i doing something wrong for the imbalance to happen? Also, is there any food which is good source of progesterone? Pls note i had a D n C last Nov07 due to blighted ovum which was followed by 2 normal cycles i9n Dec07 and Jan08 .Also, i have not been on any OCPs prior to this hormonal imbalance. Have there been cases where the hormone imbalance has been rectified and resulted in a successful conception? Plss help me.

Rekha veen replied. You need to consult a good Reproductive endocrinologist. I had the same problem. We consulted Dr. Bina Vasan from Manipal Hospital in Blore. I' m preg now after 10 yrs.

Just be patient and get your hormones under control before you become preg. Else even though you get preg, the harmones will make it difficult to sustain.
