hi ,i have an 8yr old son.he is good in studies but most of the times he wont listen to me.recently i stated doing baby sitting for an 7yr old,she is friend to both my daughter n son.they play together at their house too.there is a complaint from the girls mom that all the kids made her house a mess,and she thinks her kids are more under control than mine .she indirectly said that due to the influence ofmy kids her kids r out of way.oneday the mom came to drop her girl in the bus stop ,she heard my son telling his sister not to talk to that girl,n not to sit with her .this lady just made a mess and she was very serious saying that ok u can be bullied by him.and i teach my kids to be strong and all that.finally how much ever i tolerated her kid for what ever she does when she is with me,she made a pose that it is my kids influence .i usually dont interfere in kids talk,my entree would be then ,when the situation is going to be bad,iwillkeep an eye n ear on them when they play.though the girl is little troublesome i was quite.now it looks as if the mistake is all mine and my kids.can anybody help me solve this please. vs replied. I think you should stop babysitting this girl and find yourself a new client. this is good for you and your children. Since this lady cannot see beyond her daughter and has been blaming your children for all her problems, before her attitude affects your children badly, please get rid of her. Maybe the message that her daughter is unruly will be driven home by another babysitter. Anyway that is not your problem. Children are clanish and every child has to learn to fight thier own battles and if that girl is not popular then she should make herself endearing with her mother's help and not by forcing other children to accept her. Please spare yourself and your children from this mental torture. I faced a similar problem with a girl next door and she too was a only child. Maybe parents with a single child are more hyper about their children and fight their children's battles.
