hi,iam a mom of 2 kids ,son n daughter,iam a house wife.my son is 8yr,sometimes he is very agressive, he will not listen to what i say ,most of the times he tries to obey his dad n not me.my husband keeps yelling at me for every thing sometimes ,and tries to point out my mistakes before kids.and may be i feel ,this is the reason of his mis behavior towards me.well i never feel bad if my son obeys his dad, but the problem is why wont he understand me,though i want him to behave good.

Just give a rude reply, why should I do it? for whatever help they require. But this is an extreme step and should be used properly, and speaking in such a rude manner should be stopped as soon as the child starts obeying you. vs replied. Tell your husband not you belittle you in front of the kids. This reduces the respect your children have for you and they think it is okay to treat you badly. They learn from their father, you see. Tell your husband that whatever he has to say should be in the privacy of the bedroom, after the children have gone to bed. Be rigid about this. When you are being a good mother, wife and homemaker, you have every right to demand respect. If they dont get the message, tell them you will only hear polite language and anything shouted at you will go unheeded. You son is young and so is still dependent on you. Tell him he has to obey you if he wants you to help him with his day to day activities. Everytime he is rude to you, stop him and tell him you will not tolerate this and demand that he repeat the same thing more politely. Believe me , children love a mother why demands respect and this will also teach them that everyone has the right to self-respect and may stand up for their respect when they are older.
