Problems in School:Survey on television and your children.

Name: Donncha Fahy

Hi, my name is Donncha Fahy and I live in Ireland. Im doing a project at the moment concerning the effects of television on young children and part of my project is a survey. It would be great if you parents could answer the few short questions below. All I want are very short answers like simply Yes or No, because if the answers are too long I wont be able to put them together and get some statistics. Anyway here are the questions: 1. How many hours of TV a day, on average, do your children watch? 2. Does it affect their social life? 3. Does TV stop them from getting enough exercise? 4. Do you think they watch programs with unsuitable content? 5. If so, do you mind, or do you do anything about it? 6. Do you encourage them not to watch TV? 7. And finally, overall, weighing up the pros and the cons, do you think TV has a good or bad influence on your children. So remember, short, one word answers please. Thanks a million.
