Are you Due on Christmas?

Are you Due on Christmas?

Are you due on Christmas? It is a great feeling for would-be mother to delivery her baby on Christmas as Lord Jesus was born on this day. Read on to find the advantages of being due on Christmas and how to manage parties during Christmas.

Are you expecting and due on Christmas? Well, you must have received lots of comments and remarks and advised to take rest during Christmas celebration. However, having a baby in holiday season has lots of advantages. This is when you look at things in a positive mood and way.

If you are one of those who love Christmas party, you need to plan and prepare well for the party this year. If you are expecting this month or next, you should keep in mind few things and then throw a party on Christmas with full caution and care.

Advantages of Being Due on Christmas

Have a quick look at the advantages of being due on Christmas

  1. Majority of the people will be around you. No matter whether you give birth in a hospital or at home, you will have more than expected helping hands around. Besides all, your child will be referred as god-like since it is Christmas time.
  2. No one is going to expect a Christmas party from you this year. Apart from this you have a legitimate excuse to avoid the Christmas party arranged by your office. This is important because it becomes very difficult to avoid and handle heavy drunken party mates.
  3. In future, you will not have to take or ask for leave during your child’s birthday. This will be an added advantage every year you will feel. Also, the child will have family and friends around him or her on every birthday.
  4. Since it will be Christmas and your child’s birthday, he or she will expect bigger presents and will also get many numbers of presents.

Tips to Throw a Christmas Party when You are Due

Here are some tips to throw a Christmas party when you are due.

  1. When you are due on Christmas, it is a good idea to throw a party at home instead of traveling to friends. You must have made birth plans and you would never want your child to come somewhere far from planned.
  2. You can offer your home as the venue for the Christmas party. In this way you will not have to organise and arrange for the party as well. You can choose any of your friend or relative to do the arrangements. Since you are not in a position to do all cooking and decoration, it will be justified.
  3. Do not fear about the expected one to come unexpectedly. Enjoy the party and only remain conscious and careful all the time.
  4. Make sure you drink only non-alcoholic drinks and stay away from smokers as far as possible.

Due on Christmas, What Should you Wear?

  1. Maternity pants with loose and flowing tops
  2. A-line dresses look perfect
  3. Dress as a pregnant Santa
  4. Wear any dress which you like with Santa cap
  5. Wear a comfortable dress so that you can party comfortably

Remember, being comfortable is more important right now than looking gorgeous. It depends largely on how you are feeling at that moment. If you can manage both, it is good for you.

Finally, some of your friends might insist you to take only one glass of wine. But you should be firm and avoid any hard drink. Also avoid French cheese and raw meat in Christmas meal. You deserve little pampering and so let people treat you.

Saying no to Christmas might become very difficult specially if you have older children. Take necessary precautions and pay attention to the tips provided here. You will find everything good and if you get the labour pain the same day, rejoice because your child will be arriving on an auspicious day.

this article is really very helpful for me. Christmas time is the time of festivity and managing the festivity along with the pregnancy is indeed a big task.
