Emotional Problems During Pregnancy >>>
Q: My wife is eight months pregnant. Sometimes she gets emotional for no reason at all. What should I do? Siddharth (Chicago, Canada
) |
A: Although pregnancy is a physiological phenomenon, it also encompasses a vast number of physical, mental and emotional changes. The emotional and behavioural changes may be brought about by the endocrinal (hormonal) changes that occur in the female body during pregnancy. What your wife is feeling is quite normal. During these emotional episodes, I would advise you to try and make her stay calm. Also, she should try to meditate or talk to someone close to you about your feelings. |
