 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My son is two years old. Our family doctor and a paediatrician have confirmed that our child's urine slit is too small, and he has suggested circumcision. I wish to know whether we can wait till a later age to perform the operation. Will such a wait have any adverse effect on any other area?

Sahil (Dubai, India)

A: You can safely wait until your child is 3 years old before the surgery. It will cause no harm to your child.

Dr. Subba Rao
