 hi,after reading comments of so many people i come to the conclusion that i have faced my missed abortion very bravely.may be because i have a lovely kid of 4yrs already or may be god gave me all the strength.i want to look ahead not behind.what was not mine did not come to me.i lost my baby in the 10th week and it has happened only 10 days back.the foetus did not have heart beat and the cause of missed abortion has not been known.my only problem is i want to conceive now and doctor has asked me to wait till 6months.if any one can help me with any advice please help.

 to all of you who have had miscarriages and abortions, i want to hug you so much. it is horrible, and they don't tell you how horrible it will be. here in my town we have a company giving abortion 90 times per week. i wish the company would stop and tell them how hard it is on your memory to know your baby died. but the company doesn't listen to the moms who were hurt by sadness. they tell them they will forget it. but you never forget! :( they say they're there to help women but there are 70 here just this year who have come to get help because of how much sadness they have now from the abortion. so so so sad. i love all of you! look up abortion recovery on google.

 hi my name is maria i am 27 yrs old i have been with my partner for 10 years and we have been happily married for a year now.two months ago i had a miscarriage my husband and i were so devastated.i carried our beautiful twin angels for 12 weeks then at my 12 week scan the sad news (twins with no heart beats).its been really difficult for me but with my husbands support i am getting through it. i just take it day by day.we were like many of you we had hopes and dreams for our babies and then in a few seconds those hopes and dreams were gone.i was so shocked i was numb.. i have to be honest its been a real hurtful experience for me mentally emotionally physically. but i am doing extremely well ive come to terms with the fact that my angels are in heaven watching over me and my husband and i believe one day we will be together again.my husband and i plan to try again next year in 2009.we are both excited to try again.i understand any woman who has had a miscarriage my heart goes out to u all!!!

 i had a d&c on monday the 7 of july. it was an incomplete miscarriage.i thought i'd be fine after that but i find myself crying now and then. i was 7wks pregnant and although it seemed short it was so important to me. i'm so scared that the d&c could have caused further damage i just pray that when i'm ready to try again there won't be any problems. i never thought that i would go through this, but i guess none us thought that it would happpen. we never expect losing a child when your told your pregnant i'm so sorry to all of you, but god has his own way and i think if we trust in him for healing and restoration in our bodies,minds and souls we will be able to survive. i hope everything goes well for you all and me too.

 i have had three missed abortion.after two abortion dr asked for few test and found that progestron harmon was low and prolactin was on higher side. so after medicine it got normal and upto 6 weeks everything was normal then suddenly dr said heart beet is slow and later no heart beat. so dr is also confused and advising to go for genetic test.me too is confesed and don't have any answer. pl suggest

 hi; i too had a miscarraige after 8weeks 5days. had gone through ivf for second time first a fresh cycle and then a frozen one.was devestated to loose the baby as we all know it does not matter how soon it was in your pregnancy it still hurts so much.i must say my partner was also the very same he too had a very hard time but we have each other and i think at a time like this it is so important. we wont give up though we still have 8 eggs frozen . best of luck to everyone and not forgetting the men they go through it too.aged 39 first pregnancy.

 october 11, 2007- daniella, your doctor is better suited to advise you on complications you may be having, however, i may suggest that your past abortion could play a factor in future pregnancies. abortion is an unnatural procedure that requires trama to the cervix which can result in weakness and an inability to stay closed during pregnancy thus resulting in miscarriage. it may be wise to discuss first with your doctor your issues and concerns in connection to the past abortion before trying to conceive. further, abortion increases breast cancer by 50%. this percentage along with genetics could almost guarentee a woman getting breast cancer by time she is 45. this is not to scare you but rather prepare you. you need to create a habit of monthy self exams and keep your yearly appointments with your obgyn. never let anything talk you out of seeing your doctor if you feel uncertain about the results of any self exam. - meme, doctors generally advise to wait 3 months after a natural miscarriage or d&c, but it's wise to seek the advice of your own doctor who knows you and is familiar with your circumstances. god bless

 santosh.....as you can tell the "withdrawal" method is false. you can still get pregnant. as far as an abortion, i personally don't believe in them. however, a close relative of mine had one. she said it was a horrible experience, she didn't know what to expect, and then afterwards she had to go back to her regular doctor to have him run tests to see if she could carry a baby in the future. she is fine, in ways. however to live and wonder the rest of your life on what could have been. i had a miscarriage about 4mo ago and it is still hard, it wasn't my choice, but, it was also not my fault. i believe it takes a bigger person to put a baby up for adoption than to have an abortion. there are many great faimilies who are unable to have kids.

 i have just gone through a miscarriage myself (this was my first pregnancy) i went to my 12 week routine scan on (31st may) where i was told the baby had stopped growing i was devastated and i went in to hospital on mon 4th june to have a d&c and its the worst experience of my life having to go thru all thati have cried and cried as i was really excited about the baby and now i have got nothing... i felt like i was slowly coming to terms with my loss after but after reading some entries here it just made me think of my loss and got me a bit upset so i am truely not over it although i like to think i am slowly getting over it i will always think what would the baby have looked like i just hope it wont be too long before i can concieve again....

 i am a mother of four. i found out i was pregnant with my fifth child on april 20, 2007. i was excited!! i always wanted a big family so it was great. on may 8 2007, i started spotting, i was so scared but, waited until morning to go to the hospital. after running all the tests and an ultrasound, they said everything is fine. they released me told me to take it easy for a few days because i was "threatened miscarriage". i went to my doctor the following day and they did an ultrasound, i knew it, they told me that the baby no longer had a heartbeat and they could see the bleeding. i was almost seven weeks. my doctor told me it would most likely take care of itself, it did may 12 2007, the day before mother's day. i knew it when it happened. but, i guess you always hope for some divine itervention to make everything ok again. the crazier thing is, i didn't bleed or cramp that much, so that made it even harder to understand. i believe that losing a baby is one of the hardest things that has ever happened to me, and my worst fear telling my other children. your just attached from the day you know, it's your baby. so to remember our baby we went and bought a baby angel statue to put in my flower beds and put on the bottom "our little angel" and the date. this was my way of remembering a once good thing, that sadly went bad. but all in all i know you have to keep going, and thank god for everything and everyone around you. because you never know when something will happen, even to someone you never got to know.
