Do Not Hold Grudges

Every individual comes across different problems in life and therefore it is necessary to understand the individual. Holding grudges against someone can only increase pain and troubles. Therefore, it is necessary to accept everyone with an open mind.

Be Gentle

In every situation try to be gentle and truthful. There is no need to be hyper or worried. When we deal with things gently, problems can be solved very easily. Being hyper, angry or agitated can only make the problems worse.

Be Forgiving

Always be forgiving and learn to let go. Holding onto the things can only make things more complicated. If you keep picking on the little mistakes of others the molehills can become mountains. Therefore, forgive, forget and be easy going with everyone.

Accept Whatever Happens

Difficulties are a part of life. Accept them and find a solution for such difficulties with a kind heart. Being stressed can affect your health and wellbeing. Do not stretch the issues and find a constructive solution for the problems.

Have Good Thoughts and Intentions

According to Bhagavad Gita, ill traits like lust (Kama), anger (Krodh), Greed (Moha), Mada (Arrogance) and Jealousy (Matsarya) are the biggest enemies of mankind. So, to live a life full of happiness a human being should give-up all of these traits. This will help individuals to walk the path of self-improvement.   

Respect Yourself

Respect yourself for who you are. Focus on the good qualities in yourself and try to make them even better. Remind yourself of your achievements and the remarkable things that you have done in your life. Remember that your competition is with yourself so do not worry about what others will think or say. Focus on respecting every aspect of yourself and your life.

Love Yourself

Love yourself. Take care of your appearance. Pamper yourself with a good spa treatment once in a while. Buy a good pair of clothes and shoes. Love you inner-self. Your inner beauty will surely reflect outside. Never look-down upon yourself as only you know what you are and who you are. Unless you love yourself, you will not be able to love others and it is necessary to spread love to be kind and live a happier life.

Learn to Lift Yourself

Do not wait for others to tell you what you have to do. Never stop living your life even if you are facing any issues. Always do the good and positive things that you love to do. Always be happy to reflect happiness on others. We are always surrounded with our loved ones but sometimes during tough times we have to lift ourselves on our own so that we can be a support system for our loved ones.
