All my sense of urgency, anxiety & the dreadful thought of letting even a single child fall through the cracks culminated to one answer. My children need access to safe spaces. They need access not just to learn & get good grades but to express openly & get a fair shot at leveling the playing field. They need safe spaces to enter a new life trajectory which isn't dictated by where they came from.
