 yes. nice article. nursery rhymes are a great way to teach everything to the children , be it colours, months of a year, days of the week, parts ofthe body etc. i always convert all this info into a nice rhyming song and my kids love to sing and sway with me. in the process they learn so many new things and are able to recollect later as well. but along with english songs one should also teach them songs in mother tongue , hindi and other regional lang. this way the child also understands and grasps new words, tones and slangs. the grandparents can be agreat help for regional songs. thanks for the wonderful article.
