hi all,
I had somewhere read that sweet potatoes are good for children. my dd is 7.5 months old. I tried giving her boiled n smashed sweet potatoe today but she culd not swallow it. so i mixed a lil milk to it. she ate it but not so well...

Can any1 suggest ways to feed sweet potatoe to her.
Thanks

P.S : She is bad wqith textures.. needs everything mashed.

boil it in cooker. cut into pieces with sugar and milk and dryfruits powder if you like and blend in mixer. make a sweet potato kheer and it tastes yummy that even adults will like eating it. i used to give my daughter the same. but now as she has grown up she does not like it. but when she was very young she used to have it everyday.

Why don' t you try pureeing it in a blender with enough water to make it as thin as she likes it and then give it to her.
