Do you think that teenagers have become overly conscious about their bodies? What advice would you give to a teenager focussed on looking like her favourite star? Should looking after your body be made part of school curriculum?

The best thing to do is for parents to be strict with their children. If you make them eat everything from the plate when they are small itself, you will not have any problems later on. If you allow them to do as they like, you will never be able to control them.

Body image will not become such a big issue if the parents themselves do not force it on their children. Nowadays, parents are forcing their children to become perfect right from the time they are small. Then they do not know how to react when their children are affected.

In the olden days we did not have television so we did not have all these problems of body image. Nowadays, all the serials and ads are only showing the thin women. How can you expect teenagers to think otherwise then. First we need to regulate our own television channels.
