hi ,
my baby is 3 weeks old.after feeding my baby generally gets hiccups.i want to know whether this is ok.
how can i know that my baby is geeting enough milk?kindly help on these issues.

ur baby is getting hick ups coz ur not giving burp...after every feed...which necessry...that air / gas shd escaep with burp or else they get hick ups...
dont gv water ..small baby dont need anything other than breatmilk....if ur working then atleast 3motnhs strictly bm....if not then 6 mmmonths ...incase u hv prob like low bm than u can alos start with formula...nothing other than that till 6 months...u must continue with bm...

hi,
baby hicups after feeding or any other time is absolutely normal.they go off on their own..nothing to worry about.give little amount of water..that will do...dont give too much of water as baby will refuse the next milk feed as her tiny stomach is full of water.
as long as she doesnt cry immediatley after the feed..it tells you she is getting her required quantity.

Hi !

getting hiccups is not a problem .. and my granny says its good and its sign for the babies good health it seems no problem don' t worry .. regarding quantity
of milk baby stops drinking when they are sufficient... and if ur baby has 8 wet diapers in 24 hrs then we can say they are getting sufficient milk...
