Hi ...

My daughter has turned 8months & she is not eating anything at all for the past 2 1/2 -3 months.The doc here has asked for a urine and blood test as her weight too is not increasing.She is around 6.1 for the past 2-3 months with an increase of 100 gms and this month it is only 40gms...
I' m worried now.Any suggesstions

Pls hELP

hi,
below 1 year, babies get strength from drinking and not eating.give her your milk or lactogen.dont come under the presuure of elders to go fast on solids.
give her milk of atleast 700 ml of milk...i am sure she will weigh more..ok
also if she is teething some times babies refuse feeds.dont force her but be persistent.
my advice to you would be cut down on solids and give her more milk.
give her avocados which is very calorie dense.give her daily 30 gms of butter.
try all these..it would work.
