Eating Problems:Birthday party at park

Hello all,
Did not find a category to post this question so writing it here, hope it is fine and you all can answer on your views.

I have twin babies and we live in US. We are planning for their first birthday in summer and we were thinking of doing it in a outdoor park and want to know how it is for a first year party? We cannot do at home since it will be around 100 plus people so we are chosing between hall and park. We will be ordering food from outside. It will be the first experience for us but we will have our parents also with us for any help. I want to know if it is difficult to do it in a park vs. a hall for the first birthday. But we want to do it somewhat different and enjoyable for the invitees and take advantage of the good weather at that time. Can you please suggest on your ideas or it if is good to do only in a hall?

Also my in laws are coming from India and I can get anything needed for the party from there. I am thinking of getting some decoration stuff. Want to know if anything else like stuff for the goodie bags can be got from there? We might have around 30-40 kids in the party. Please advise. Thanks a lot.
