hi

my baby is 31/2 m old and has been having tremors of both his feet since he was a month old.they occur when i'm feeding him or burping him.sometimes it occurs when is just lying on my lap.it isnt seizures and the doc isnt too concerned.is this a common thing?also he has had 3 episodes of chest cold since birth,each lasting 3 weeks.during the last episode,he had wheezing.each time,he is medicated heavily by the docs.any suggestions to prevent these colds

hi,
even my baby had tremors in her hands and feet and when she was 15 days old she was hospitalised with 103 degrees fever...the fever was due to infection which subsided with antibiotics.for the tremors the doctor prescribed her calcium since it was a calcium deficeincy.the tremors have gone now and she is 9 months now.pls check with ur doc about calcium level of ur child.
also try to give minimum antibiotics to ur child.try heating coconut oil and put some camphor in it.apply lukewarm oil to the baaby's chest and back and soles.it helped to releive my child of congestion when she was 7 months.i dont know about smaller babies.

Please massage the ankle of the legs gently at least 30 tomes a day you can use any baby oil for Morning massage it helps babies to sleep well and hopefully all will be well

Use steam inhalation (just steam) swing the baby little bit to give warmth and asl apply cherry Rub you get rub for babies in the Night on the clothing of the babies so that he/she can inhale the same while breathing please do not apply directly.

Wash your hands everytime you hold the baby. Avoid having a person with cold come in close contact with your baby.

Subject:  Congestion remedies



Have you tried using a Vicks humidifier? It might help relieving the congestion a bit.

Since the baby is too small direct application of vicks is NOT recommended. If you are breastfeeding, maybe you could apply a little bit of vicks on your chest, and let your baby breastfeed. This may help his congestion a bit.

You could try using the Vapour Bath (I believe Gerber and Johnson's Baby both make it) to help your baby feel better.
