Name: Dd hi,
some of u r familier with my situation. after 3 failed iui i met my doctor today. she did a test she was reffering to pstc. in which fresh semen sample is taken. they prepare microspcopic slide of it to see sperms & their motility. & some of it they put into vagina & make u lie down with straight cross leg for 30-45 min. & after they take sample from there & prepare another slide to see if sperms remains alive in that situation or not. It came negative in my case. i.e. sperms r visible & moving in first slide. but r all dead in second slide. that means there is something wrong with envirnment inside my vagina.

she is saying before going for next iui she wants to have hypnotising seccions with me,. bcs as per her dignosis i have lots of stress & mental blockage which can be cause of unexplained infertility.
my dh is ok with the tretment & tomorrow morning we will go ahead with it.
but i thought to ask if anyone has gone thru this?
i am very comfertable with her & we both trust her. but now i am feeling bit scared hence nervous as if i am losing hope.

If you are suffering from PCOS/PCOD, Dr. Shagufta's Clinic should be your next and last stop. Can you tell me exactly what was done to make you relax? Did you listen to some music or some lecture this is with reference to the tapes you have mentioned. I wish you luck and hope things turn out to be positive for you. semi replied. Hi Dd
I read your post. this does not say more about your problem like what kind of test and procedures your doctors has performed? whom you are seeing etc?
I have never heard any infertility dr. performing hypnotising seccions just because you are in stress? I have heard people going for support counceling or to a Physiologist to get imotional counceling and support. Stress is definitely not good for anyone and your body but there is no direct or clear cut relation between stress and infertility. I may provide you some guidance if I know your detail.

HI,
I am going thru similar phase.
my dh is very caring & understanding but our working style is different & so at times he gets irritated & angry on me which is difficult for me & results in arguments but ultimately i give in. this fights have increased now bcs we have been seprated from inlaws recently & now there is no one to divert our mind but two of us & hence we have become picky about eachothers and i also wonder the same thing how r we going to conceive in these situation.
i am also trying to relax & take it easy on personal front.

Hi,
sorry net was down yesturday.
it was not a ready tape. she slowly made us go into trance with her instuctions & made us relax & go into thoughtless mind situation.
she taped the seccission & gave the tape to us. but their was some problem with the recording so we couldn´ t do it at home yesturday & i spoke to her & she said if required we can do it again on friday. meanwhile try to do it yourself.
the relaxation technique was similar to a meditation technique called ´ yognindra´ developed by swami satynanndji. I had learnt that technique from one of the yoga instructor 5 yrs back & use to practice for 2 yrs. but left afterwards but i will revive it now & start doing it. it really helps u relax & sleep properly. i do have sleeping problem at night. i do wake up very early in the morning & than can not sleep & by the time feel sleeping again its time to get up. this problem had gone when i was practicing that technique few years back but it has come back bcs of lack of dicipline. so i will restart it.

try to find someone who knows about it & u can learn from them or u can find a book published on it, read & try to do it yourself.
sorry i am too busy for 2-3 days with work pressure & ovulation coinciding.(lol)
so just wrote whatever came into my mind quikley.

I read your post. this does not say more about your problem like what kind of test and procedures your doctors has performed? whom you are seeing etc?
I have never heard any infertility dr. performing hypnotising seccions just because you are in stress? I have heard people going for support counceling or to a Physiologist to get imotional counceling and support. Stress is definitely not good for anyone and your body but there is no direct or clear cut relation between stress and infertility. I may provide you some guidance if I know your detail.

Hi SEMI

hi semi,
You know bit baout me from the reply to ruhi´ s post.
when i started treatment with my current gynec in march i had infection problem which was cured with her tretment.
she also did sonography at the time & found that my uterus size is smaller than normal so to increase the chance of conception she gave me course of injection for 10 weeks.

After that she started ovulation sudy & iui for me & we did 3 cycles with 1 break in between. but not succedded yet. in evry cycle folicle nos & groth is improving. so i am going to try 3 more cycles of iui with her bcs i am quite comfertable with her approach & treatment. i am 33 & my hubby 37.

she had done the said test which i described in original post before starting tretment & it was negative at that time also.
she is aged lady in late 60´ s & very experienced. she has done lot of research on stress & infertility, & she goes to many places to give lectures & seminar´ s on the same.
today we had asecciosson with her she doesn´ t make u talk abiut problems hidden in your unconsious mind( what i had thought)but rather her approach is she tries to help u relax. we both had goood experience. she has given the tape of it to us & asks us to do relaxation with tape twice everyday.
I am not nervous today rather more relaxed & feeling confident in her again. we also have started ovulation sonography today & she will see after 2-3 days if she feels my body is relaexed & ready than we will go for IUI or else we will skip this month.

I will keep you all updatedabout the treatment. feel free to make any coments or discuss your views about it.
