I wanted to invest a little amount in a bank nearby but could not do that as I had no identity proof for myself.I have no ration card,voter' s id or a driving license to get my money into the bank.
Now I want some way out to get my identity done and I heard the easiest and time saving way is to get a PAN card.It seems now PAN cards are issued even to housewives.
Here I have a doubt which I ask everybody to clarify-I can submit my degree certificate as my identity proof but how do I manage with the address proof ?as it is compulsory while applying for a PAN card.I do not have any bills like telephone or electricity bills named after me.Or will I be able manage it through my husband who can introduce me as resident of a particular place,as all the bills are on his name.If yes,what' s the procedure? Should I affix a letter written by my husband introducing me ,along with a copy of any of the bills?
Can anyone please guide me?
Sorry if it is an irrelevant topic here.I wanted some quick and prompt advice and so I posted it here.Afterall I' m seriously trying to get an identity proof for myself which I ignored all these days.Thanks in advance.
