I HAVE PCOS AND THYROIDS I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR A BABY FOR 5 YEARS, AND STILL WAITING I HACE DONE THE CLOMID TREATMENT, SOME HOW MY OVERIES ARE TO SMALL DOCTORS HAVE NOW ADVICE ME TO DO THE IVF BUT I AM SO SCRED OF MULTIPLE BIRTHS WHATS THE ADVICE U CAN GIVE,PLZ CAN U TELL ME I AM VERY CONCREN!!!

I was diagnosed with PCOS after my son was born.But I have always felt the symptoms of PCOS have always been there.So don´ t worry.Eat healthy,keep your weight in check and be positive.
Pls check out the website and you will see and meet ladies who have gotten pregnant even after being diagnosed with PCOS.Good Luck to u.Have you ever been referred to an endocrinologist ?.....coz they are the ones who are more knowledgable as far as PCOs is concerned.

the only advice i can give u is plz continue with all ur medication expecially matformin,that would help with ur pcos

i am also 28!!

i have had slight pcos since i was 14, and didnt do anything about it then, now that i have got to a stage that i want a child i am finding it very difficult coz my pcos has gone worse now it will take alot longer for me to concieve, so plz hun do contine with ur treatment before it gets worse,

am not sure about the other medecine that u r taking can u plz tell me wot they are for, mite help me
ask ur gp if u can take folic acid this will also help u and ur baby

i am 28 yrs old i have been trying to have a baby for past 5 mths. i have been detected with slight pcos . i am taking folvite, metformin, glycomet every day atleast 2 times for 5 mths . yet my period is only slight and not very regular. infact i have bled twice in the previous two months. do u advice any other medications. ps: glcomet is adviced by my gyneacologist.

What did your doctor say were the chances of multiple births?Granted they are higher with IVF but that is because they implant multiple embryos as they don' t know how many will survive.You need to discuss this issue with your spouse and doctor and decide what you want to do.If I was you,I would go with the IVF.But thats just my 2 cents.

No,I haven´ t been through IVF and I don´ t know anyone personally who has been through IVF.I am sure there are a lot of people on this board who could guide you.

thanx for ur response,yes the doctores did say der will be high chances off mutiple twins, now i am at a stage that i dont mind having the twins ,i have spoken to my spouse and he really doesnt mind,

just wandaring if u have been through this or do u know who has been through this.

is der any chances of me getting pregnant with all these symtons.
