Hi,
I just returned after to canada with my 14 months son. Initially first couple of days it was tough as he would wake up at 2.30 in the morning and would want to play. But then I got him into routine and would let him have 1 nap in the afternoon and then take him out or play with him when he feels sleepy, and then put him to bed around 7.30- 8 pm and he would sleep. Atlast we got the routine so don't worry

generally it takes 1 day adjustment for babies for every 1 hr change in timimgs. Since India and USA have 9-10 hr difference so it may take 9-10 dyas.
But I personally feel it would not take that long.
just try to postpone her sleep a little later in day. Since she will be tired by the evenning doing this so give her firm massage in the evning and feed her. she will fall asleep.
I am also visiting India and I think I will face the same prob.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
