Feeding:Problem with Breast and Bottle feeding

My son is 4 months old.last month he stopped drining milk from my breasts ,anyhow i pumped milk and feed him using bottles but now he doesn' t want milk from bottle too,he always started crying when i put my breast or bottle.I just started a spoon of rice cereal.i can' t give him much solid yet.what should i do?i am much worrieds

Hi Simmi !

i too have the same problem with my 8 months old bay .since from 4th month she didn' t drink milk from me or through bottle i too use to express milk and fed her she doesnot drink with bottle too now also i have to spoon feed her...

I strated wheat cereal at 4th month ,and at 4.5 age i started banana also just a small qunatity.. from 4 month ending i started 2 times giving her cereal...its was really a hard time for me...
Now also she drinks only twice that too 50ml max some days she cries for drinking that small amount also.and now as she is 8 months just started we can feed her with any solids...

Hi there, I am so sorry to read about your problem. I am wondering why all of a sudden your baby has gone on nursing strike.

Is he fussy/gassy all day? What is he having now if not nursing? If you could post more symptoms in detail, someone could help I am sure.

Also is he nursing while he is sleeping? Try to increase his calories by nursing/bottle feeding in the nights. Take care and hugs to you.
