Name: Meena Hi All,
I tool 50 mg clomid last cycle and my gyno did blood work and ultrasound to confirm that i have ovulated. Now i am on second round of 50mg, but this time i didn' t have any test with doc to confirm ovulation. I am wondering ....if clomid works for first cycle then will it work for second? I am really confused on this. I am using OPK but from last 2 days i am seeing + ve test ...Please let me know ( my age is 29 yr and TTC from 1 year)

i too support see a fertility specialist they will of grt help .
are u in india take my word no doc out here will ever suggest u to change or take a 2nd opinion or even go to the righ doc...
beleive me all because of a doc ..calous attitude i lost my 1st baby at 33 weks merely a few weeks prior to deliv
so dont waste time instead go to a spclst

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know it´ s difficult. don´ t worry every thing will be fine. yes i also agree with you. Gyno cannot see after certain border. My gyno herself referred specialist 2 months back but thought to give more time

with clomid i have only hot flushes in the night and slightly headach around ovulation. I am in second round right now but have feeling that this is not going to work...

Can you share your experience

Hi Meena,

I think we are in the same boat. Iâ€™am 28 yr old and from last 1yr on TTC. Not yet luck, Iâ€™am on prometrium from last 3 cycles. Iâ€™am completely frustrated, now my gynic will prescribe me clomid. How is your experience with clomid, I had lots of side effects with premetrium,I put a weight too.Please share your exeperience

Meen are you in India or somewhere else.I´ m asking this bacause I´ m in USA and we have to follow the procedure directly I can not got to specialist,gynic has to refer me,once she done her treament.

and also please try fertility specilist because sometime i can see that GYNO don´ t have proper explanation. I have also wasted full year with gyno but no result.I am seeing specialist next week. good luck!

may be ovulating

Hi Meena,

I was on clomid cycle sometimes back, but used BBT chart. By and large, if you ovulated with 50mg in the last cycle, it is quite likely that you will ovulate this month too with the same dose. If OPK is showing positive results, that means you are ovulating now. Has it been 11-16 days after your LMP? If so you may be ovulating.
