hi
i need a good recepie for dal dosa.
there are manyways of making it but want to know a way of making all dal dosa.if anyone knows please let me know about it.

Hi there,
This is how i make the dhal dosa.
I take 1 cup of rice and 1/4 cup each or handful of all the 5 dhals.Soak the dhals separately and grind separately.While grinding rice, i also add 2 or 3 tsps of cumin seeds, few curry leaves (can also be added after grinding as a seasoning),1/4 bunch of coriander leaves (can be added after grinding too - cut it finely in that case),handful of coconut gratings,1 medium or small onion (keep little aside for seasoning),Green chillies (depends on you),one small piece of ginger.
After grinding , mix both the batters, u can take the dosa immediately.Add seasoning to the batter - take little oil, add mustard, curry leaves and onions fried till golden brown.
Don't forget to add salt.
I guess my recipe contains too many ingredients but this is how i've been making and we eat it many times without chutney.
