Vegetarian Food:how to reduce excess chilli in curries

hi
can any body tell me how to reduce excess chilli in curries i saw people giving tips on excess salt but not on chilli plz help.
this happends to me most of the time and i end up wasting the curry.

In my opinion you should use a very small amount of Chilli in Curry and use it according to the taste of salt so that Curry doesn't weaste

I think you will not eat the food in spicy manner.So you have to reduce chillies whether it is green or red chilli powder.So according to that you can eat the food.

to reduce the chilli content it is best to increase the amount of khatas or the sourness.
when we make a hot fish curry , if the chillies are more i add tamarind juice to it to reduce the hotness

Hai,
if there is excess of chilli add boiled potato cut in cubes or mashed potato according to the dish u make.this will increase the quantity and will also increase the taste of the food.adding lemon juice will also decrease a small level of chilli and salt.
